Morisma documents in colorful detail the traditional and religious celebrations of the Moors in the Mexican states of Zacatecas and Jalisco. Through the life and struggle of Hilario Espinosa, a leader of the Moors in both states, we learn of the Moors traditions and plights, upholding medieval traditions of the Franciscan order, little known to the outside world. Also included are two short documentaries; BRACHO and BURRITO DE AGUA-MIEL, depicting the traditional harvesting of cactuses used for food and to create honey-water, as well as showing the donkey travels through ancient Aztec routes to remote areas of the picturesque and mountainous states, to harvest the wild cactae and agave in accordance with old traditions.
