Cinco
honorables ancianos, LOS MAESTROS, famosos ladrones de bancos

en una conocida prisión. Después de treinta
años, la cárcel se ha convertido en su propio
hogar y son entrañablamente conocidos por todos: presos
y carceleros. Una mañana llega la desagradable noticia:
están libres. Muy a su pesar aceptan el nuevo rumbo
que toma sus vidas. Ya en la calle cada uno trata de integrarse

Five legendary bank robbers, all beyond
their prime, carve out a nice lifestyle for themselves as
they sit out their long sentences in a Spanish maximum-security
prison. The jail has become their domain as their legacy and
reputation has earned them respect and admiration from both
prisoners and guards. Their life behind bars has become one
of certain privileges, but is turned upside down when they
are granted a surprise and immediate release. Once on the
streets of a modern and greatly changed Madrid, they struggle
