A
strong international cast is set against a Portuguese
backdrop to explore the mysterious death of a young archeologist
and his last known contacts. Somewhere along the Portuguese
coast,
a man’s body washes ashore. Meanwhile, police
detective Pinto finds a video camera in a nearby parked
car with
a tape of a young woman apparently unaware of being
filmed. Pinto locates the woman and an interrogation
begins,
but her explanations only give rise to more confusion.
A classic
murder mystery unravels as the detective puts the pieces
together, revealing a tale of love, betrayal, multiple
women,
and a trail of events that seem more like fiction than
